Meet the Creative Team Behind Local Classic Repertory
Emily Grace Smith
Founder & Artistic Director
Emily graduated with a BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University and an MFA from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee in Musical Theater. Local Classic Repertory combines her professional and artistic expertise, both as a performer and having worked in the hospitality, finance, and energy industries.
Serena Chan
UI/UX desginer
Serena received a degree in Economics and Design from University of California, Berkeley. She hopes to use her skills to create accessible designs that promote inclusivity and bring delightful experiences to users. She enjoys meeting new people as each person teaches her something new and exciting.
Facia Johnson
costume designer
Facia is a Liberian-American entrepreneur from Trenton, NJ. She is now the CEO of The Loaf Brand where she uses fashion as a platform to spread the message of hope throughout the world while creating handmade culturally inspired clothing.
Melissa Campbell
Graphic designer
Melissa is an artist and performer currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio. A recent graduate of Oklahoma City University, she is now performing at Kings Island Amusement Park and is thrilled to be designing, directing, and performing with Local Classic Repertory.
Alison Chan
Visual Designer & Illustrator
Alison is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She has an avid passion for including aesthetic and whimsical elements into her work while focusing on a design-centered approach. In her free time, she enjoys lettering and doodling in her digital sketchbook.
Hannah Weller
Development & Strategy Assistant
Hannah is earning her B.S. in Instrumental Music Education (K-12). Hannah hopes to earn her graduate degrees in clarinet performance and education, teach public school, and eventually obtain her doctorate and teach at the collegiate level.
